Default Stainless Works true duals

Thinkin about tryin the Stainless Works True Dual setup on my 2018 6.2. Anyone tried the kit yet? Hows it sound? Watched some youtube vids, but cant tell very well. It states the 3 inch sytem exite out under the bumper, or dual side exit behind each tire, but thats 2.5 inch. Not sure why the difference. Thanks for any input

Really lame that it's a single pipe that splits to duals. That's a lot of money for a fake dual exhaust.

Not being a hater.. When I saw this thread I was like man I haven't considered stainless works for a catback I bet thats sweet, then I saw it and was like what the what. But I guess it makes sense if you're keeping the stock Y pipe that it would have to be a single to dual.

But why not just make a single exhaust with a dual tip and save a few hundred dollars?

It is super nice though, and I guess once you do headers it would become a true dual setup.

Found this on their website.

Has A BUNCH of sound clips and explains the exit options

So far I think that may be my favorite setup with headers. (the sw dual catback)

Yea. I get what your sayin. Its a single but when you switch to longtubes you just change the headpipe. Which I would do closer to warranty expiration. Its i listened to a bunch of clips. Just on my chitty phone I still cant tell.etell.everything I hear sounds super raspy.
Its expensive. But at least for the money you get twice the materials as a corsa. Lol. Ill probly get it closer to spring.I like the flowmaster outlaw style, but not a fan of their muffs and its not stainless that I see

Man I full agree. Corsa is STEEP and not a flowmaster fan myself either.

I like my setup personally, and will end up putting a magnaflow 12909 in it some day. That's the large case 3.5" in/out muffler. The dual tips do look good though. If I ever make real power I'll need to switch to dual exh.

The price of the SW isn't bad in comparison to others, I just think they're all crazy lol. I have $140 in my 3.5" catback because I'm a cheap ***, and couldn't bring myself to spend an extra 1k for no additional performance. Plus mine is OE so it fits exactly right with no hassle like most after market ex, but I have a 5.3 so the 6.2 catback is already a benefit to me, doesn't necessarily work out that way for you.

Are there any other true dual setups out there? I just looked at the corsa and it's single 3". Pretty lame for 1200 dollars.

I know the speed engineering setup is around 500 but it's probably a bit louder than others. I assume, I truly don't know.

I always figured if I did duals I would get the speed enginnering setup and see how I liked it, have the dual rear tips put together because the sit apart and look stupid IMO, and if it was too loud have enough money to be able to afford 2 large case magnaflows and still come in less expensive that some of these other guys and have hopefully exactly what I want.

I had to google it. It does sound pretty good, but man that muffler is tiny and once you do headers it's going to be screaming loud.

The stock manifolds and cats are super quiet all on their own. I dropped my catback off one day and you could literally drive like that. It only takes a few minutes to drop the clamp from the y pipe to the catback. I bet it's pretty similar to how that gibson sounds since the gibson muffler is so small.

But man if you're gonna run a single exhaust and cut the tip off, your current exhaust with a better muffler would be pretty much the same thing and you already own that so it's free minus the cost of the muffler. May make more sense to buy the muffler you want and the tip you want and bend the tail section the direction you want it facing.
