My PB? Back in July we got some cooler air in the lower 70s upper 60s and the DA finally got around 1000 and I made my first two 12.7 passes. Here is a video of my first 12.7 pass. No changes at all to the truck other than cooler weather. Recently we added more torque management because since the supercharger was put on it was over shooting my shift points so I am at 85% at the first shift, and then at 70% for all the other shifts and it is shifting right where I want it to. Obviously the torque management is not effecting my times it would appear lol. Other than that no changes to the truck.

You still considering headers?
Ah okay. I raced a guy many years ago in a C5Z, it was yellow and I believe heads cam car. Your story was a bit similar to that race and wondered if it could have been you.

Having formally owned a Mustang GT 3 valve, you can’t force the shifter into 3rd. You have to shift from 2nd, let the shifter fall into the gate naturally, then 3rd.
I used to have issues with 3rd and the result was always a missed shift.
Doesn't matter if you have a short shifter or not either.
My best in that car was 13.0 @ 104 blowing through 1st and 2nd. Street tires and 4.10s didn’t mix well. Lol

i remember beating a GT in my 5spd with a stock-ish 5.3 launching in 4wd a few years back.
that dude never heard the end of it from his buddies.
granted, he was catching up on the back side... but a win's a win

Right now going to leave the truck as is. My goal was 12.9s which the current mods I have and I hit sub 12.7s and might see a 12.6 before the tracks close for the year which I am very very happy with. For now going to focus on the house and get some things done with that.
I definitely hear that.
