When in auto start mode the truck uses the cabin temp and oat temp and will cool or heat as necessary without havingnto preset the HVAC controls. It aims for a nominal 70\72 degrees and will enable heated and cooled seats as necessary based on all above temp inputs

Once the key is inserted into the ign it reverts to temp and adjustments where it was at prior to last key off ign cycle.

 

No prob , but all the info I have found shows 2010 and up will work as long as it has the newer 9 series hardware , I guess below 2010 has the series 8 hardware .

Still reaserching though .........
