Thank for the dissection of this actual 'patch', pooter. Seems that this flash update actually addresses the parking lot panic stop. Gonna check that filter screen to the vacuum pump to keep up with things...…..

No problem.

What screen are you referring to? I don't have one on my OEM pump or the gasket that came off.

I understand that there's a filter of sorts as the vacuum pump is lubricated by engine oil and is subject to getting blocked up sometimes...…….

There wasn't one on mine

You ever done a fuel pump on an old school engine where it bolts to the side of the block and there's just an open hole when you pull it off? It's just like that.

Unless I somehow missed something.

Update guys,
I got the 'repair', and while it's not noticeable much anywhere it did address the low speed parking lot panik stop inability which is great...………..

Did they just flash it or replace the pump. I"m thinking about taking mine in next week to see if they'll replace the pump for me. If not I'll do it myself.
