Love the truck man! So just so I have this right, the stock 6L80 with just a converter change and a tune I am assuming held up until you poped the drive shaft? What are you using for tuning software?

Yep stock with a converter! The driveshaft explosion killed it lol. It has another 100% stock 6l80 in it now too. It's tuned with Hptuners

Thanks man. If you don't mind another question or two... Are you running the Caltracks? If so how hard was it to get the bushing out of the front of the leaf spring? I was thinking I would just do it when I did the flip but no access to a press just yet.

I am planning on either a pro charger or a 2.9 Whipple. I know you are running a different low pressure fuel pump but which one? And did you just put it in line and run both or did you swap one in the tank?

Which converter and how much stall? I did read the entire thread but don't recall if you mentioned it.

Thanks again and really sweet truck.

Truck is too damn sick! I just got my 15 z71 regular cab and it came with a volant cai and mbpr exaust. My whipple will come in, in about 2/3 weeks according to them and also my catch can and e85 conversion kit so should be running in less than a month!

You said you were overspinning the blower and an f series wasnt an option. How about the new D1xthey say its rated at more hp than the f1 is

The Major issue with these DI engines is fueling without having to run meth and Quite pricey too!

Yes I have cal tracs and my buddy did the install and I believe he has a press so it was easy for him lol
Cordes Performance makes a lowside fueling setup for these trucks, same one thats in my truck!
The converter is a Circle D 2c, which is a 3200-3400 I believe

An f series is an option, problem is only having a 6 rib setup and spinning it harder will probably mean belt slip will be an issue! Someone above mentioned an 8 rib kit coming out but I havent looked in to it yet, definitely gonna do something new for the new year! Need more power lol
