Called AFE today and told them the problem with the tube. They are sending me a new one after the technician and the tech support guy talked and told me there was a batch that went out with short tubes.

My first tube didnt have maf slot and pipes for vaccum

That's too bad. It would have been instructive. You need to keep in mind you're basically changing the MAF housing which can alter its calibration a bit.

In a back to back test you don't know if the results are due to airflow differences or due to the engine running richer/leaner without the wideband.
