So tell us how rough could the oil fields really be?

I could have expanded on that statement a little more LOL. Trust me tons of stupid money gets spent up here but BP for the most part buys 99% Ford. There is probably a easy thousand brand new F-150's running around along with a bunch of Powerstrokes.

So seeing a brand new 2014 GMC up here was just way out of place. Especially a fully loaded one, usually they buy base models

Thanks guys! I'm loving the new truck. It has everything I always wanted in my '08 and even more! I have to say i'm not totally loving the 6speed, it's taking some getting used to. Seems to "hunt" a little too much for my liking at lower speeds, like in stop n go traffic. The interior of these trucks is FANTASTIC! The leather seats, the dash, the gauges, the Bose audio, the Navigation all ROCK! The only downfall is the backup camera. The backup camera in my '08 (GM part in the tailgate handle connected to my Advent) was far superior. Power wise, this new 5.3L would definitely out pull my '08 5.3L with a 93 octane tune, but not by leaps and bounds. Its stronger for sure, but not ridiculously stronger. I really wanted a 6.2 but obviously I was under time restraints. My neighbor is very good friends with the new car manager at the dealer i went to so i feel like i got a really good deal. They gave me $15,100 for my '08 as-is.

Guess it all depends on what you paid for the new truck as to whether they gave you a good deal. How you like the cooled seats?

Whats wrong with the backup camera? Ive got a factory setup added to my factory nav in my 07 that I love. Woulda thought the new ones would be just as good.

About this time next year I plan to get a new truck just not sure what so I'm interested in any and all opinions and experiences on these trucks. Really wish the all terrain was a available woth the cooled seats and they offered a power step option like the f150 platinums.

LOVE the cooled seats, pretty cool feature i never thought that i would use but end up using it almost everyday now.

There isn't anything really "wrong" with it, but the picture quality does not even come close to that of the setup i had in my '08.
