No I understand and appreciate the feedback. I'm just more observant (okay, OCD) about things and tend to notice little things better than most people
So this morning, I back out of my garage, mirror doesn't move, passenger mirror adjusts down as it should. Put the truck in Drive. Passenger mirror goes back up as it should, driver stays. Start down my driveway (long drive) and I see my drivers side mirror moving down to face the ground. Ugh.
It was moving in a motorized fashion, not like the gears are stripped or anything.

Lunch time:
Remote start truck, leave work, no issues. Reverse into the spot at my destination, move back to drive and the mirror moved.
Leaving lunch, starting truck with the key, could not duplicate. I'll have to try remote starting and doing that process again to see if it repeats.

See Vehicle Personalization on page 5-47 in you owners manual before you visit your dealer. Thats where I'd start.http://www.chevrolet.com/content/dam...nersManual.pdf

Reset to factory settings and see if it happens using the method you have found it to consistently occur. If it does not move on its own then, set everything back up the way you like it and try it all out again.
Signal voltages are funny sometimes. Stray voltages can signal your electronics to do all kinds of things its not supposed to.

Oddly enough, I have not been able to reproduce it today.
The other day, I could reproduce the condition all day long, as long as I followed the right sequence of steps.
My only thought is that over the weekend we had rain and then took it to the car wash. Perhaps there was a short and now it dried?
Who knows. I'll keep an eye on it and make the dealership aware of it. Certainly an odd bug.
