Default Long tubes, no cat, GM Borla Touring

Decided to throw the old system back on because the xr1 was to much cruising around. It actually sounds a ton better than it did with the stock manifolds. I've gotta order a new cat and get some pipe so I can cut out the flapper (it's welded open currently) and get that welded up and then I think it'll be done.

Sounds awesome! How’s the cab noise and drone? Is there much at all? I’m planning on doing the exact same thing to my 2010.

Just the sound of the engine through the headers. No drone from the exhaust.

I've got a small amount right at 1700rpm under a heavy load I didn't notice before. Once I get a cat converter back on I'm sure it'll go away. Its still WAY better than the xr1 was even with a j-pipe.

I'll have to revise my previous statement and say there is drone at 80-85mph. It's not bad on flat ground but on a hill it can get irritating. Hopefully a cat will take the edge off. I'm removing the flapper today.
