I was happy with the 1.9 60', it rips all 4 tires off the line. Off idle TQ is insane. Just need cool air and it should run 13.90s. That's what I expected anyway. I've seen bone stock trucks like mine run 14.0. So a catback and tune only got me back to what I would run without the lift and tires. Lol.

Thanks. I have a set of 28x14.50 Hoosier slicks from my drag truck, but it's 8 lug. Not sure 16" rims will fit on the disks in the back of this truck, but if it will I'll buy another set of rims to put them on.

Any ideas on why the throttle is limited to 84%? Or how to make it open all the way?

It is opening all the way. The scanner tool will only read 84% though.

You're logging the wrong PID. The PID you are logging (TPS) only goes to 84%.

Log the actual pedal and the throttle body, that way you can see how the pedal corresponds to the throttle body. They will show different numbers since the TB is computer controlled. You want to make sure that you are getting full opening.

Are you logging with HP or EFI live?

Edit

I just read back and saw HP Tuners. Are you using 2.24 or 2.25 Beta to log?

Wow one of the originals, wasn't sure any of the guys from the old days was on here anymore. I hadn't logged on in years because it got so bad on here with the trash talking, my old username was SnakeEater since 2002, but I guess it was deleted for being inactive so long.

With the 4" catback it seems to breath better up top, but what really woke it up was copying the vette cam timing over. No anything under 20mph it'll light the tires up and spin into second gear. I'm still somewhat confused about the 84% throttle thing, but I can solve that with some research. I really need to get cold air in, that's what's killing my times.

Single truck length is a lot of time in the 1/4. I don't think I need lower gears though, it already spins all 4 off the line. Just need more top end.
