Does anyone know what if any existing intake manifolds from LS/LT engines fit the new 2014 5.3?

 

Don't think so as all the builds for the new corvettes are still using stock intake manifolds.

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Someone needs to build a medium or high rise. The companies are slacking on producing parts for these new motors

This new platform has been out for less than a year and there are already a ton of new parts for them.

The stock manifold has put stock suspension vettes well in to the 9s... Why is it you think you need something different for your truck?

 

Yeah gotta agree with Noah the aftermarket has moved pretty quick so far on these new motors, they are already hitting 1kHP on the new vettes with stock shorblocks

 

Yes 1k hp on the new vettes. And yes I do beieve they are slacking or maybe it's the fact I'm used to the always interchangeable parts of older LS engines. I'm already spraying my truck custom straight through exhaust cat delete CAI all that good stuff. Have a cam on order and valvetrain parts that I hope will work. Trust me I've dug in to this motor to know as much as the fuel is supplied by a cam lobe I'm not new to this L83. And yes I do believe with the potential of these new DI engines manufacturers could be making a killing manufacturing tons of aftermarket parts

 

Do you know how hard it was to find a colder spark plug? That I'm not even sure works with the nitrous yet or is at the right gap hahaha

Small potatoes. Please enlighten me on the stock push rod size, valve spring seating and height, cam size to run with a 3800 stall, what size larger fuel lobe to run for a 39% increase in fuel, and what number and brand spark plug to run if I want to run 2 steps colder. All this with no dod/afm delete. Since I know the aluminium block is good for 800 hp stock I'm not worried about swapping my 5.3 with a 6.2. Nitrous I already know about I asked a simple question about a taller intake manifold so I can plumb my own direct port stand alone system. Small or big potatoes if you can't answer any of those you don't even know what potatoes are right now.

 

You can plumb a direct port in the stock manifold bro...

As for everything else you mentioned, there are about 20 shops sponsoring this site and tech that have every bit of the info and MORE... You act like you're breaking some kind of ground here man... Get in line
