GM just put up $1K factory money on these trucks on the 1st of this month,was hoping it was more.My Pop is ready to buy

 

Take the advice of a failure wait until it has been almost a year.

 

I use to think that way and would buy that way.but then 07 new body was spot on,well tested no fails.014s will be fine

Not the issue. I had a roommate who works at a dealership. He would always talk about the deals that came thru. The vehicles that had been around a while got much better deals.

 

My .02, would wait too. But I think I saw a total of $3500 off in factory cash and dealer incentive. I looked at the add twice so I don't think I was seeing things. Saw the add at a dealer in Dallas Tx.

 

In a mailer I saw right at $4800 off MSRP on a select trucks. I spoke with the sales manager about 2 weeks ago and he offered "preferred pricing" which was less than "invoice pricing" along with factory incentives which amounted to a little over $5k off LTZ MSRP. The factory incentives apply only at time of delivery and I'm holding out for the 6.2 so will wait to see what deals are available at that time.
