Welp, 10,800 miles on a new 2016 Denali 6.2 A8 with headers and intake I got the trans replaced it flared 1st gear pretty bad. Got it back and had my tuner look at the tune and touched it up. Truck has more pep now but lost total interest in it. It's officially my wife's daily now lol.
Now going to start looking for a RCSB 5.3 for me and for a little fun.

Nah, I've got a low 10sec all motor 5th gen that's about to receive a new power plant for mid 8s in the 1/4. I want a mid low 12sec daily. The Denali just didn't inspire me to keep going like my old turbo stroker one.

I sure do like my 14 and they definitely run good with minimal mods but between the vibration and not much available yet for the DI engines and the additional expense...if I were doing a truck with more than minimal mods I would do a 13 or earlier GMC. The reason I never bought an 08-13 Chevrolet was because they looked like **** imho. I do love the 6 spd of the later models though. Happy hunting!
