Default Are GM engineers stupid? In here!

Well I used the word engineers to encapsulate every one included in bringing out a vehicle from scratch all the way from the designers to the quality assurance personnel and everyone else in between.

I hope you guys notice how the steering wheel is mispositioned a few inches to the right. With it this way its almost impossible to drive with your left hand while having it rested on the handrest, also your right hand should move out of the way in order to hold the steering wheel properly which ends up hurting your right elbow (not sure why).

The local GM dealership did admit that they received complaints from owners who thought the issue effected their vehicles only. A friend of mine who sat in the truck before I purchased it noticed the problem but since hes a very picky person I tend to ignore everything he says. It took me about 30 minutes of driving the truck after I had purchased it to actually notice how bad the problem really is and to make sure its not in my head I looked up the official GM images of the interior, which I posted above. I also had about 15 or more guys sit in the truck some of which took it for a spin, all of them acknowledged the problem a few who were interested in purchasing CANCELLED their orders.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yea we have. Also this is in almost every truck you've ever driven... the GM is just slightly more. I totally agree they went too far with this one though.

Well I came from a 2010 Silverado and that truck was perfect, even if the steering wheel was slightly not centered it wasn't even enough for me to notice it during the two years that I daily drove that truck in.

so the images I posted must be wrong, and the two dozen guys who sat in and/or drove my truck must also be wrong, including the people who complained at the dealership.

Can you explain the official GM pictures I posted? Hint: you'd need to have a fully functional brain to comprehend them.

Leave it up to a guy with a 1000 hp ZL1 camaro to bitch about his steering wheel being in the wrong spot on a brand new truck.
