Default Engine oil pressure control stuck off..........

P06DD, Engine oil pressure control circuit stuck off. Guys- what are my options? Other than lousy gas mileage(about 2 mile a gallon off) and random odd oil pressure the truck runs spookily smooth. Am I looking at a new oil pump? I have noticed oil usage, there was a pool of it in the intake are in front of the throttle body. Any quick fixes? Any advice very much appreciated......... TIA

Update here guys. Thought it out after having found a bath of oil in the air tube and found that this would be cause by a blocked oil passage preventing the oil from draining appropriately. Went ahead and put some dexron in the crankcase- a quart to quart and a half and about 60 miles later Check Engine Light goes off and a welcomed improvement in gas mileage. Dropped the oil and filter, oil was dark black, wonder if it was the transmission fluid subject to combustion or contaminants dislodged. Got new oil in, truck is running fantastic but oil pressure seems to drop when stopped at a light and such but otherwise normal. Thinkin' about another run thru with dexron. As always- any advice and input much appreciated........

How much is the oil pressure dropping at a stop, my wifes 2018 Silverado drops to 35 psi when stopped then goes up to 40 when driving with a warmed up engine.

30psi is normal for hot oil though, no problems there.

Oil pressure's OK- gas mileage still off. Gonna go with another quart of dexron in the crankcase. Question- between dexron 3 and dexron 6, does one contain anymore detergent than the other...........

Did an oil change to get the dexron out and back to normal oil. Mostly good- even had a bit of an oil leak that I'm guessing the dexron conditioned the crankcase seals. No more SES light and mileage is back to where is should be. So mostly good, only concern is the oil pressure, fine on cold start and driving, but goes to like 25 and a light stumble at the traffic light......

Did you run some top end cleaner thru it? Oil intrusion on a dry intake surely has some gunk on the intake valves.

Don't know if this would if this would be considered top end cleaner but I have sprayed seemingly ad nauseum gummout into the intake until the engine suffocated and let sit. smoothened thing up alright. If that is what would be called a top end cleaning, then yes........

Update; did a real good **** soaking in the intake, let it sit for awhile started up- it staggered to idle went for a drive smoked real good, neighbors thought the truck was on fire. Truck is smoother now and no stumble at idle anymore. Gas mileage is falling off again so gonna do a few more of these **** soak cleanings.....
