Default Ecotec 6.2 Fuel trims erratic

Anyone have any vacuum leak issues with the Ecotec 6.2L

Air Raid CAI
Stock TB
Diablo tune

Fuel trims seem to be erratic -25 to +25. Seems to stabilize within normal ranges with increased RPM, so I am suspecting a vacuum leak. Hoses and CAI tube seem to check out OK. I also noticed the AFR is always reading at 14.75 except for dropping to 12-13 between 3000 and 4000 RPM.

Ideas/Suggestions welcome?

Pics posted. It was leaking slightly on the breather. I disconnected and plugged and that helped, but not enough. Catch can ordered. Still seems like the high numbers are at or slightly above idle.

Whats up with the hose reroute and plug before installing a catchcan? Have you tried replumbing it to factory and checking trims again?

I plugged the connections to see if readings would change. The trims are better, but they are still off. There has to be something else...

I found the culprit. Notice the weld leak on the header.

Put the stock CAI back on it and all the plumbing and see how the numbers look if they are still off then throw the stock tune in it and compare again.

The exhaust leak was the issue.

You should probably clean up that solenoid wiring while your in there. Also get some regular automotive grade hose that can tolerate petrol products and heat.
