clear coat problems

Default clear coat problems

so my 14 is having paint issues wtf ? took it to the dealer and they are gonna fix it no arguing but dam a 50k truck 10 months old having paint problems?

Happens???

Ford had this issue before, brand new crown victoria's with paint peeling after 1-2 years.


It's a mass produced item, not everything can be perfect.

Yeah gm had that in the 90's. Clear coat would peel off the hood deck lid and roof. It was actually a paint issue, not application. Then in the early 2000's Ford used the same paint supplier, and lo and behold it was still crappy paint.

What kind of problems are developing and where on the truck. Is it happening in multiple locations?
