I seem to recall someone had plans to swap our their 6.2 (L86) intake manifold for one for the C7 Corvette (LT1). Did it happen? Sounds like it might be a worthwhile mod if the truck is going to be used more for sport than for heavy towing and hauling. Should be only a 10 minute job and not very expensive. Guessing it might need a tune to do that but possibly not.

 

Clearance isn't an issue on these new ones like it was on the old engines?
