I can definitely agree on cost of vehicles and don't want to touch them or do very basic mods because of payments. Easiest solution if you don't want the electronic nannies is pull em out and turn em off onstar etc pretty easy to eliminate. Airbags I can see ditching for a race truck for a DD I can do without all that BS amazing I survived my teenage years no airbags no antilock brakes no onstar no bluetooth no navigation. These new trucks are way to much big brotherish for my liking and only going to get worse in the future.

Just curious guys it seems soon as the NNBS hit market they got sliced diced cut up and figured out in no time. The 014's up still seem like a pariah to the mod oriented guys. Guess it's like everything once we figure out all the new technology it's game on.

I took a step back from the new vehicle big brotherishness...1969 Camaro for a toy, and stuck with an ol' 2002 NBS truck for tow duties.

I think the aftermarket world for the 2014+ is just now leaving the starting line. I have an Air Raid CAI, Gibson shorties, ported TB, 150 shot and muffler delete. Im hoping they made the 6L80 transmissions on the 2014 stronger than the 2010's, because my 2010 didnt last long.

My 2014 is suffering from the drivetrain vibration. Unfortunately I bought it with the 3.08 rear and it couldn't tow my gto without struggling. I found that east coast gear supply sells a re-gear kit to put 3.73s but being that I'm 4wd I need to swap the front diff out too. So I guess I'm still modding. Part of me wants a 2015 ecoboost but they're 50k with low options. I love my Chevy but I wish gm would ditch the 3.08 for a more aggressive towing gear.

When the 2016 Camaros hit the street with the LT1 things should start ramping up.

I did a Airaid MIT and have a MBRP exhaust for the L86 in my '15 double cab. It needs a tune but its not like its that bad stock. Hell from a 20 mph roll with 265/65/R18 10 ply BF KO2's it still blows them off going WOT. I bought this thing as my work truck though so modding it any amount really probably isn't going to happen.... but who knows.
