Shift characteristics change every few thousand miles with my truck, it will start doing something different. Mostly shifting to/ from 3rd gear. Quick stop and go at a stop sign it holds third, hesitates and clunks through 2nd to 1st when you hit the gas. It also has started holding 3rd during light acceleration. It'll wind all the way out to 4500rpm before shifting to 4th. Cruising around 45mph on and off gas in traffic it will clunk hard. I have taken a few logs, it pulls 1-2 degrees of timing when this happens.

Anyone know if the 16s had the 6 speed trans available with the 6.2? Otherwise I'm gonna find a 15 Denali with it.

No they dont.
Ive been in the marker for one and only the 14-15 offer the 6speed..

Since we did the trans flush with the new fluid and I’ve tuned my 8 spd it’s getting real close to being my favorite setup...

15's do have the 6 speed. 8's were still optional.

That's good, but I'm still looking for info if the problems have been identified and fixed. I do not want to get one with an 8 speed and have it go bad on me. Know what I mean?
