The Camaro brakes and wheels probably won't make it since they're not 6-lug.
The carbon fiber probably won't make it due to expense. Maybe as an option?
The Gen V 6.2 isn't flex fuel.

Oh and, it looks like the only reason that exhaust works is because of the spare tire delete.

Wish there were more details on what was done to lower the truck.

Please make it with the manual transmission as an option. I just saw this, showed my wife and told her to brace herself if this actually goes into production. It will be my first ever brand new truck off the dealer lot (I prefer buying used).

 

Just got off the phone with a Chevy salesman. He said he was familiar with the SEMA show Cheyenne and that it was going to be produced. He said he'd get build sheet info in Feb/Mar when it would be announced as a 2015 model.

Now I just gotta figure out what it will take to convert it to E-85.

 

That might be a LOT with a direct injection motor! Please keep posting what you find out.

 

if it's a performance oriented truck, why can't the 5 lug be doable? Assuming the brakes are exactly from the Z/28, the brake set up in the rear might be as well with different axles. I don't see why that would be the deciding factor if this is real or not. Ditch the front/side/rear skirts and the center mount exhaust, and this truck is really good looking in my opinion. I agree with everyone else, just offer the 6.2 as an option for the regular cabs so people can do as they feel for the truck instead of shelling out what will most likely be an absurd dollar amount for that truck. Should be interesting what they actually come out with, and is that rear bumper available to the stock truck? I HATE the molded steps the trucks come with.

 

The irony of that bumper is it's still so high off the ground the lower step is pointless.

 

Well I've decided that the 6.2 not being flex-fuel is a deal breaker. I'm just going to order a 5.3 RCSB (1WT) and build it up myself.

 

??? I'm lost here, isn't the new 6.2L ecotech get you 21mpgs? Why is flex-fuel a deal breaker?
