4/6 drop questions 2015 single cab

Default 4/6 drop questions 2015 single cab

Hey guys, new to lowering trucks and wanted to know about how to lower the, truck with mcgaughys 4/6 adjustable kit, kit came with no instructions! !?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

4/7 on these new trucks looks like 2/4 on NBS. I like it. Looks to be not too much of a drop that makes driving a headache rather than pleasurable.

I needed those instructions this weekend when i did mine! It was a real pain!! I figured it would be pretty easy but i guessed wrong.

the 4/6 on both the nbs and the 2kxx are pretty decent drops and bring that fender well down tightly.
my current 2kxx with a 4/7:

my 2001 with a 4/6:


the 4/6 on the 2014 doesnt scrap or bottom out hardly at all. the lowest point is the front airdam...as opposed to the 2001's lowest point being the transmission cross member. so it is much more comfortable to drive.

a 4/8, which i have now, gives you more of that lowered truck feel the 2001 did...meaning it bottoms at hard bumps lol
