Default 2014+ come in.

Wanted to pass this along. I found it today and thought it was really stupid. I have my wheel wells removed and am in the processes of undercoating mine, I found the starter wire in contact with the passenger side shock tower bolt. It wasn't touching the bare wire but it was already worn through the black plastic cover and into the red insulation of wire.

Check yours before you get a short. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow.

yeah good info for sure. Nothing ruins everyone's day like a Car Fire.

I believe mine has a clip right there that supports/restrains the wire, its actually pushed onto the strut bolt...brown colored plastic clip....maybe blue...

I'll pop my hood and see if I can spot it...I'll snap a pic if I can.

That's the best shot I could get...but it looks like its braced the aftermost brown clip. Do you have this one on your truck? Or is it just tied looser?

Top of pic = Aft of truck
