Default 3.73

Dude.. Your dealer lied to you. I just bought Sept 2014 a GMC 6.2 Sierra crew cab 4x4 six speed with 3.73 gears form the factory. I have American racing headers with 3.5 inch corsa exhaust with a K&N air filter and a tune from Dyno Tune Motor Sports in Columbus Ohio. Truck made 383.2Rwhp 425 ft-lb on 89 octane. I will burn the tires all the way through first and second gear and a quarter of the way through 3rd. It will smoke the tires at 40mph roll on also.

Midnight you are kind of right.014 Denali 6.2 3.42 only.014 LTZ or SLT 3.42 or optional NHT 3.73

015 8spd 6.2 3.08 or 3.23 and someday they will take off constraint and start building the 3.42NHT max tow
