Z71 GUYS! Launching in 4wd? any secrets?

well ill have an answer this friday....2 weeks ago i ran consitant times in launching in 4hi and switching to 2wd after the 1-2 shift. gonna try launching in 2wd this friday. we shall see!

i tried 2wd back when i was NA running 15's and 32" tires.....lmao, i burned rubber halfway down the track that chit takes too much skills.

i don't stall it at all....i've gotten the same results from flashing it than i have with brake stalling it up....with the 3000 stall its just easier to launch in 4wd. hey i paid extra for 4wd...might as well use it!!

I'm curious to know what kind of tires you 4x4 guys are using. UHP street tires, drag radials, whatever?? Let's hear it......

Trying to decide which direction to go here on my truck for next summer.

i am running the factory all terrains, when they are up. I am going to buy bfgoodrich all terrains. That is a great tire for mileage and traction
