my service manager drives a 600HP Mustang and said do what ever I want. He told me a I should get a tune and a cat back. So I don't think I will have a problem. I was thinking headers void it and headers seam to be the best thing for our trucks so why not just void it.
so maby I should do headers. should I do true duals or ARH and a muffler. like a 22" Magnaflo. .I want my exhaust all stainless because this truck will see snow and salt. I bet if I did full exhaust and 4.10s I would get some nice power and keep the fuel mileage and warranty I have now.

You're not going to find a free flowing exhaust that is quiet and doesn't resonate with headers and high flow or no cats. You're simply not, been there done that. Corsa is as close to perfect as you're going to get but they're loud as hell and also almost a grand.

You just need to throw a blower on it and be done, you'll get twice as much power out of it as all the other mods combined and won't require near as much work.

The quietest you are going to find would be Lt headers with high flow cats mated to a 22" magnaflow and keeping the stock resonator. It's not that loud and by keeping the resonator, you won't have drone.

The quietest thing you are going to find is your stock exhaust

i hear the stock exhaust with LT sound good. so no real advantage of replacing the stock muffler. just do long tubes? no need for duals?

If u keep the stock resonator, it won't.

Went with a 4" x 20" diesel magnaflow. I have drone (no resonator) although my resonator is still in my shed so i guess im 1 exhaust shop trip away from no drone... I have ARH LTs with Cats and 4" catback. I don't mind the drone, however I'm younger, no kids, listen to my music loud and still make bad decisions. If i was a bit more wise I would have went corsa (I wanted a custom exhaust tip exit and couldnt justify the cost and then hacking it up to get my custom look) or added a resonator to the system I put on. My 20" magnaflow is pretty loud. Check out my exhaust thread for some vids search "6.2l exhaust recommendations". Hope it helps with some idea. There for sure is a video on youtube of a 6.2 with kooks or ARH and stock catback, still sounds sexy too.

Here's something to keep in mind...The dealers don't make the call about whether to cover something under warranty or not...It's GM's call. If your engine takes a dump, and the tech sends your tune information to the warranty department, and it doesn't line up with what they show it should be, bye bye warranty.

Also, 4.10s and headers will require a tune. Tune = voided warranty. Also, going from 3.42s to 4.10s won't retain stock fuel mileage.

For the cost of a full exhaust (headers, y pipe, catback) and front and rear gears, I'd just spend a little more and just get a TVS supercharger. If I had $6k I wanted to spend on my truck, that's what I'd buy, hands down.
