Id honestly forget about the gears. Blower, cam, headers and a real tune will make a mid 12 second truck and outrun mostly stock sports cars all while hauling 5 adults and a bed full of crap. Fast trucks are fun, I had my 4wheeler in the bed of my old Z71 with everything for camping on the weekend with four other people in the truck. Walked a corvette to 80 to merge onto the highway, of course I had a stroker motor and a 4200 converter but Im sure that vette driver had the biggest WTF look on his face.

they cant handle the stock motor. I want to get some 20" wheels with summer street tires on them. I was thinking something like these

looks like ill be going with Auto Meter Carbon Fiber gauges 4776 Vacuum/Boost, 4763 Fuel Pressure, and 4778 Wide Band Air Fuel. Im not sure if ill get a piller mount and paint it to match or make a custom mount. These should go good with my Z71 gauges
