So i got a question for yall.I have a 07nnbs with a 4.8 and wasnt even think upgrade until i delivered biodiesel to this garage on my route.I seen a few projects this guy had goin and noticed a 6.0l block doing nothing, brand new.So i asked him what hes doin with that and he said nothing cant find a home for it,so i told him what i had and he said its yours cause your never late with my delivery,So my question is, would this be a good build with all forged internals, basically a 6l stroker?Prolly need some tranny upgrades as well.I am going back tuesday to get it if you guys can help me with input.Thanx

Hell ya man thats great!
Some suggestions ill make that could save you a chunk of change now that xmas is nearing... try to buy your parts in packages. Texas Speed alot of times does H/C packages that also include the push rods. Here is a link for it

Same thing with your rotating assembly, you will really have a hard time beating there prices.
Also, do the LS7 lifters.
By the sounds of things im sure you intend to have the motor looked at by a machine shop correct? Im sure you know this by now but things can add up really fast when building from the block up. Here is my block prep prices just to give you an idea.
Degrease Special $120
Bore Hone 8 Cyl $175
Check Block $45
Clean Mag Polish $55
Balance Assembly $200
Hone Rods $20
Tax $40
Trans mods are a must, that 6.0 will be so tempting not to get into every day your driving to work lol, and itll have alot more power than your 4.8.
Hope this helps a little
