If you want to run the bug deflector without the rattle noise, get some thin double-sided sticky tape, remove the weatherstrips on the sides of the glass(they go on with some screws), and reinstall them with the tape holding them to the glass. Works perfectly 100% of the time.

No, I'm talking about the weatherstrip that goes up the left & right sides of the glass. Pull off the rain-gutter weatherstrip, and the screws will be exposed so that you can remove them.
