Making that power will need a build 4l60e for sure. For the price might as well get a stock rebuilt 4l80e with a stall and cooler

Choda has an xc that's a 600+ badass with 4l60e. Gm makes a 4l75e that's extremely strong now.

I'm running a built 2wd 60e and make over 6xx tq and I have been beating on it for 4 years now

But I'm going to swap to an 80e soon and turn the boost up

I know a guy running a crew cab with a 370 and pullied down whipple 2.9...it's a built 60e with a trans-brake that Vince B built for me. I sold it to him when I pulled it out of my truck. it runs like clockwork behind his heavy rig from what he says.

NOT a cheap transmission by any means. an 80e swap is the general go to transmission with the weight of these trucks.

Vince built the one that’s in my truck as well. It may die a terrible death tomorrow, but it’s been hanging in there since ’06 and never missed a beat.

Performabuilt has a 4L70E Black Edition that will hold up.

My buddy has the Black Edition in his 2008 NNBS Crew Cab 4x4 truck that makes 1000 crank HP with a Twin Turbo 6.0. That is right around 800 rwhp.
