Default What you guys think? Totaled?

Well unfortunate news,

I hydroplaned on an on ramp to i-35 and side swiped a light pole. I'm alright, but you guys think it's totaled? Its an 2009 SIlverado 5.3L. The Rear differential is probably destroyed. The rear drum came off with the wheel and the Rim shattered. The drive shaft was pulled out of the transmission. When i put it in park the transmission was grinding real bad. The bed is obviously crushed and so is the door and front fender. I landed in a foot of water and i saw oil in the water, but I'm not sure if it was leaking oil or just grease off the block.

need more pics to say for sure. but looks like the cab is shot too. If that's the case it COULD be totaled.
Thats part of why i need to get my efi and put my 20"s back on. These 17"s have 0 traction in the rain and will hydroplane easily.
I tried to leave a stoplight down from work today and could barely get moving

Yes. You are looking at greater than 10k worth of damage, besides with that kind of damage, would you want it back?

It's not about the easy stuff, the cab is screwed, and I would bet the frame is tweaked.

It's a horrible feeling when you know that you cannot save it, there's nothing you can do but sit and watch. Been there and done that. Sorry, man it does suck. I would say start looking for another truck.

You can do what ever you want to the rebuild, just have to pay more if it cost more that the replacement parts.....but you might as well go with the 14 bolt rear if you decide to do anything there.
If it is totaled, let me know what you are going to do with you headers, tuned ECM and other stuff!
