With a big-*** crew cab, I'd stick to 1-5/8" headers even with a mild cam unless you are gonna slap a decent size stall in there, cause then you can flash right past the lack of low-end. In that case, 1-3/4" will be fine.

Look at it this way... every 1/10th gained in your 60' is usually worth 2/10th's at the end of the 1/4 so bottom end is a huge factor...

I had a Nissan Titan in 2004 cutting 1.9 60's on 20'' wheels w/Headers, Tune, Intake, Exhaust (14.07@96mph) it was all bottom end in that truck (5.6) Headers were 1 5/8'' w/2.25'' Y to single a 3''.

To bad he doesn't have a big selection to chose from w/1 5/8''...If you do go 1 3/4 stick with a single 3'' out

i already have a 3000 stall to help on bottom end. i will eventually replaced the chokemaster with a 24" magnaflow 3" in 3"out. and not going duals either

Here are the one's I've owned, both 1 3/4'' I ended up returning the Kooks for the AR's

AR pic's are 1st, last 3 are Kooks... Kooks Y has dual 3'' merged into a single 3'', the AR Y-Pipe is a little more open with a 3.5'' outlet

my CC is 14.4 @ 94.89mph
go 1 3/4" unless you get skipperdaddys for cheap, just my .02
i would stay away from the 1 7/8" unless you went 6.2 or bigger with FI or a cam/Nitrous set up

get with Pat G an he'll spec the perfect cam for you. if i dont get 12.99s out my cam im going with a Pat G cam for mid to high rpm with a 3400 stall
