what hp/tq does a stock 6.2l 4x4 get at the rear wheels?

Another thing is that 6.2's are harder to come by compared to the 5.3's. Most people want a nice truck that rides/handles good and gets decent mileage. Not all out performance like we here at PT.net are. I know if i would have had the option for a 6.2/6-speed in 08 i would have def. Gone with that. Sadly a denali was not in the budget tho at that time.

I think I have seen more people with the 6.2's posts better MPG than the 5.3's.
It makes more power which is probably moving the truck easier and getting better MPG.
I know my truck stock with a tune was easy over 20 on the hwy. Hell even after the blower, cam, stall and all that it's still creeping up in the very high teens on the hwy

I wasnt implying that the 6.2 doesnt get good mileage. Ive seen many posts of people with 6.2's reporting same and better mileage especially after a tune. But again the general population isnt aware of that and still thinks like we are in the past where larger motors get poorer mileage.

yeah its all how you drive them, 2wd will get better than a AWD. Mine being two wheel drive gets 17.5 around town if I am gentle with it and 15-16 beating on it from the lights and stop signs pretty regular. On the highway it gets 22mpg@65 20mpg@72 19mpg@75-77 and 17.5 80-85mph
