10 bolt 8.6inch but if you want to be 100% sure just bend down behind the truck and count how many bolts are on the pumpkin.

4.10's will help the truck get moving a lot easier. having a 5.3 Crew cab you will not regret a gear swap. IMO they shouldn't offer a CC with less than a 6l

haha i knew what rear end i had but still went out and did this. it never hurts to double check especially since i bought the truck as a repo. i once thought of going 3.73s or 3.90s... so glad i went 4.10s. these heavy crew cabs need it

around nlr arkansas where i am the chepest and best place i found was cabot tire and off road... i was quoted 750 for install and gears 4.10.. but thats minus fluid so add another 50 bucks if you go with any kind of synthetic. but mine is also a 14 bolt 9.5" ring gear.. if you can get it installed in that range and say 150-200 (motives, always used em never had a problem here, cheap but great quality) for gears 50 for fluid your doing good around 400 for install... yours should be around 150 175 bc mine i want is 200 shipped so i doubt if you have the small rear end it would be the same..
