Oh I'd love a s/c (tx) but it's my DD and in the winter for school will be 60 miles there n back.

I agree totally with suggestions to think carefully about how high a stall you get - I had a 2800 stall converter on a built 400 smallblock in a truck once and didn't like it for daily street driving. It had an animal of a hole shot, so would have been wonderful for the strip or stoplight drags, but I didn't like the feel just driving it day-to-day on the street. It did have a lockup, so highway mileage didn't suffer, but I'm much happier with the driving feel of my stock 6L80 by comparison.

It all depends on what's more important to you - but you might ask around and try to drive a truck with a non-stock converter before you sink the cash in one.

Yeah I'm looking into FI for mine but if you aren't planning to go that route then the 4.10s will be a great start. If you're still a little bored after that, throw Circle D's 2800-stall multidisk converter in there. That'll step things up another notch.

Thx yeah i probably won't go that far(converter). After gears then dyno n thinking toward Lsxrt. But only cuz its so tempting. Hahah

I'd stay away from that intake for now. A lot of guys having issues with it. May want to do a search on here regarding that.

Yeah I've notice that what the hell. Thats to bad looks sexy as hell. Especially powdercoated. Thx for advice

X3, and stay away from intake, too many issues including leaks. it does look bad ***, i was in the same predicament until i did research on it

Dealership?
Did it yourself?

Curious to see if anyone had issues, like I said 15k DD
I don't need her on jacks.
