Darrell, never seen someone do their headlights quite like that, looks good. Although they look very much like those of a ford now!

Thanks man, It makes so much of a difference whether it be clearing or painting them. It's just so meticulous alot of people wont venture to do it. Takes me like 5 hrs a light start to finish.

Default *** update ***

Thanks to everyone for their contributions, opinions and advice. I purchased new bumpers, new handles, mirror caps, body side molding and z71 "apperance package" front lower fascia. Removed the rear bowtie and "flex fuel" emblems and painted the front bowtie black. Completed this ended up costing me $1450 and some change and I still have my chrome take-offs. Although I could have completed the job for less if I did some of the labor and leg work, after all things were considered it was a fair deal and I'm happy with the results. I'll post up pics soon.

While my wallet was open I installed new JVC nav unit, JL 5 channel amp, Polk Audio component door speakers with custom sub box (single 10") with storage compartments. I considered 2 12's but the storage was more appealing to me and I did not need the extra bass.

PS. I need to change my signature and add my truck

It really scares me that you had to buy all that stuff just to black out your chrome... I tried to go get mine wrapped in vinyl but the guy there assured me it cant be done with traditional vinyl. He recommended I find a shop that uses the 3M material for wrapping entire vehicles. He said that material is drastically different and is capable of conforming to crazy surfaces. Ill keep you all posted.
