Will deleting the vvt system cure my 07 escalades issues with code p0011, random stalling, rough idling? From searching I've determined my trucks oil passages may be clogged and the vvt phaser is getting stuck in the advanced position when I get off the freeway and makes my truck want to stall. Like the title says, besides making sure oil is clean, will deleting the vvt keep my truck from stalling or idling rough anymore?

If the cam phaser is the problem it would fix it. But if trucks all stock may as well just install a new phaser and keep on going down highway no real reason to delete unless you are putting a cam in it. VVT is reliable as day is long I've only replaced a couple phasers in the last 8 years.

If you don't change oil it could have clogged passages but highly doubtful prbably just a phaser getting cranky.
