Default Vortec Max exhaust question

Sorry, tried to search but came up empty. I have a 2007 (NNBS) Vmax, CC/SB 4x4. Currently stock. Looking to get a cat-back system for a little healthier exhaust note. My issue is that it seems like most of the exhaust folks list the 07/08 trucks' exhaust for 4.8/5.3 but no mention of the 6.0. I was looking at the Dynomax #39454 (3", Ultraflo muffler, swept side exit) and it looks correct but doesn't mention the 6.0. A call to Summit and Dynomax didn't help (Summit wasn't sure, Dynomax said that the 6.0 is different than the 4.8/5.3 exhaust). Somehow I have trouble believing that the hangars, etc are different for a two-year engine option on the same truck. Adding to this is that Gibson lists their similar system as fitting all three.

Does anyone know for sure if these are interchangable?

PS-I realize that Dynomax is no Magnaflow, Corsa, or Borla but those just aren't in the budget right now as I will be doing some tuning at the same time and need to save some for that.

Thanks in advance!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but pretty sure my vmax had a 3" from factory. So I would think it would work fine

Does yours have dual midpipes to the muffler or does it merge into one then going the muffler?

Its a Y-pipe (with the cats just below each manifold) to a single two-bolt flange. Single in/Single out on the muffler. The cat-back would start at the flange.

Did a little more digging, Magnaflow and Gibson both use the same part number for the 5.3 and 6.0 (I toggled between engines on a couple vendor sites for those systems). Seems like this would indicate that they are the same. I may roll the dice, just hate to eat return shipping on an exhaust. Ideally I'd just do a Magnaflow but at about 3x what I can get the Dynomax for its just not feasible.

I didn't realize they put a true single exhaust on a 6.0

GM even uses the same style single exhaust on the 6.2L. I even think the exhaust pipe is around the same size, 3" for all the 6.2, 6.0, 5.3.

Just swap mufflers unless you plan on huge power soon. Most shops will do it for $200 or less.
