If you take it in for service with an aftermarket tune they can tell its been modified with the tech2 scanner if they check.... If however you load your stock file in before taking it in for service then its pretty much impossible to detect its been tuned. This doesnt apply to all vehicles though for instance the new Camaros has some tracking capacity for ECM flashes etc but as far as I know non global A ( i think thats what they're called ) vehicles like our trucks do not have this capacity so your safe if you flash your stock file back in.

unless the oilpan has parts hanging out of it or you take it in for a wounded engine noise, or fried tranny it's not something they are going to go through the effort to look for if it's in for basic maintenenace or oddball MIL
