Cool V-max Question

I have an 07 new bodystyle V-max. I installed the dynatech headers and a magnaflow exhaust, it has a cold air intake and a diablo sport tuner, 4.10 gears and bear brakes . I currently lhave 24 on it. now heres the problem. my tranny just went out, well 3 and 4th gear anyway. My buddy is fixing it now and he found that the pump was losing pressure and that thats what caused the 3 and 4 gear problem. do you guys think the gears could have in some way caused or help worsen the transmission issue. We are gonna install better clutches and a new pump and im gonna order the servos and a transgo shift kit while its out, Im also gonna go for a 2500 stall. tell me what you guys think. any suggestions would help thanks.

do a 3000 stall man, its a good DD stall
i dont think the gears an your hand held tune made it go out. how many miles on it? you said you have 24s on it right? i think the weight could help strain the tranny but it all depends on how you drive. do you try an drag race it with those heavy *** rims?

The truck has 45k on it. the dealer guys said no way on the warranty. I do alot highway driving, and the tuner didt have a gear setting so maybe that had something to do with it. I dont beat on it and I dont drag race, thats what the camaro is gonna be for. I wasleaning toward the 3000 stall, what cam should I do

if anything the gears actually take load off of the tranny...
but depending on how long you've had the 24 on without gears could f-up your tans.
also id do a 3k stall with a 40k cooler for no heating issues at all..

i don't understand why you want all the performance but have 24" wheels on your truck, 22's maybe but your truck would perform overall a lot better with just some factory 20's on it. Just ghetto to me man sorry, "My truck could be hella fast yo but I'm ballin' on 24's " so if you're keeping 24's on it then you need to go to a 4:56, they put 4.10's on VMAX'S standard with only 20's

they said is was because of all the mods and the rims. and th gears. I didnt really want to sit there and argue. the truck is almost done just waiting on the converter. should be here friday. Should I order the transgo shift kit? or is there any other companies you guys recommend.

get the tru-cool trans cooler from oregon performance. you can do a search on ebay or on any search engine. I dot it after my converter swap. My trans temp was going to 192. with the tru-cool. Only after stomping it will it reach 180, and it quickly drops. Its cruises at 140-150.
