Default Update now that the truck is in Alaska

Turned over 16K miles today, been worked pretty hard up here and has a few chips but no dents and no scratches, very happy with it so far. The only mods are an Airaid Jr and MBRP cat back. Tune should happen in around 84K more miles if I can stand to wait...

The hydrophobic coating I got has done wonders, water wicks right off of it and almost hypnotizing while driving, I would definitely recommend it!!! Anyways, cleaned it up a few days ago.. still cleans up nice. Also included a couple shots of my indoor wash bay, pretty nice having a water treatment plant to use any time

hydro - water

phobic - fear of something

I think it makes your truck afraid of water, so it somehow manages to stay clean when you drive in the rain....

I dunno, the guy who has done all my detailing sold me on it and used the term. It is like a really slick coat of wax, water just wicks off... Pretty damn cool. Unfortunately it doesn't keep it clean, there is no where I drive that isn't covered in gravel so the gravel dust gets on the truck and then spots once it rains... Oh well it cleans up well if the stupid weather would cooperate.

Roger, that is actually the trailer from work, I went to Fairbanks to buy a pool table for one of the bars and drug it up there. I couldn't justify the extra fuel, it ran me just over $1200 from Atlanta to Healy.
