I just traded for an 08 Tahoe with a 6.2 and 6l80. I also had the dealer to install some 4.10 gears. I am looking at doing a tune and Cold air.(thinking Volant) Is there any other bolt ons that I need to consider? The stock exhaust doesn't seem all that restrictive esp for the amount of power I will potentially make with said mods. With that said, I think I will leave the stock muffler/catback.

 

Just your usual list of bolt-ons.
Lt headers and Intake. You probably already have Electric fans.

Tune should really unleash that 6.2.

 

I hope so. This thing seems sluggish compared to my 05 6.0 EXT. I know it is mainly due to TM. I hope if nothing else, I can help the throttle response.
