Are you using a single bolt or a 3 bolt tsp220? I see where tx speed gives you that option. And I do believe our stock cams are a single bolt. Just curious as to what you went with... Also did you get the Ls2 chain tensioner? I heard the stockers are no goodin our trucks..

No I kept the single bolt cam. I'm still gonna keep the stock tensioner. I never heard of the tensioner being bad but I'll have to research...

Ok.. Yeah there was a thread in posted not long ago about it. There was many that said DO change the tensioner when doing a DOD swap.

Sand man that impressive I'm just afraid to take mine above 100mph because it already vibrates like crazy!!! And by any chace do you know that part number to that tensioner 2007chevy5.3l??? Let's not risk it and just change it since I'll be there.

Dont go any faster. You will blow that driveshaft. We had to get a custom one built for my friends 08 extended cab to take more speed.. No i dont have a part number. I guess you can just ask for a ls2 tensioner.

Thanks man Ill keep everyone up to date with everything. I just got a hold a friend and I'm thinking about getting the FAST 102 intake I can get it for 900 with billet rails. What y'all think???

there is no part number for the LS2 timing tensioner for your truck bc you dont have a LS2. search LS2 timing chain tensioner part number and im sure it'll come up. if not when i get time ill post the part number.
