i would only go with extremes if you have a larger cam or trying to spin to the moon. a cam with a low lift dont really need a spring with gobbs of spring pressure thats what kills lifters

Well I am running Scorpion Racing 1218 springs. Same specs as PAC. So far no problems. But I also checked installed height and pressures.

no ones talking about low lift cams hommie. the .500-.535/.540 cams i would run a LS6 spring, if i run close to .600 i will run a patriot dual valve spring. nothing wrong with an extra spring rated for more imho. id rather have over kill vs not enough and run on the line of "will these springs hold up or not"

now we on the same page

no anything below .580 i wouldnt run a .650-.660 spring on. PAC has a spring rated for .600 right? wayyy better than the 918s if i remember correctly.
anything below a .540 lift id just run a LS6 spring.

i seen a few cams id love to run and they are on a 115-117 so they'd be sneaky as hell

PAC was the original manufacturer of the 918. but when comp switched manufacturererers , they went to crap...... pac' still makes thier own behive spring. which i would run on a cam like a 224 with a lift of .560ish... but why not run a dual spring.."its safer" i bought my patriot kit for 250$
