I paid $400 + shipping. Cam pricing seems to be close everywhere.

What don't you like about the 918 springs? What would you use instead?

They have a bad history of failing. When they fail, they'll drop the valve. They have "revised" the springs, and they're now in a silver color. Big recall . ... Comp sent out replacements that were in the batch.

Most have switched to the PAC springs. . . . but there have been 3 posted that I know of that have had a broken set also.

ive had a 918 break on me .. not racing. just cruising. a good friend of mine also had a 918 break on him.. if you want to use 918's i coudl care less. im just stating my opinion that if you dont want to drop a valve , get a double spring

comp springs were made by PAC . until they switched companies hence "revised" edition. thats when they started having problems.

id rather spend the money on Patriot "gold" or "extreme" dual springs! Chad @ Patriot is an awsome guy and has helped me and skipperdaddy with no end! great company imho. ill never run another spring unless i go big boost, big valves, big cam and blah blah.
