Default Traction control ABS?!?

Hey all, I have a 2007 1500 4x4 new body. It's leveled, 285s, Diablo tuned(Dod purposes) and a cold air intake. Recently, the stabilitrak/tc light came on along with the abs light. I plan on a odd delete in the future and a cam swap with a better tune as it burns a wee bit of oil. But the dash light bugs me and I don't know where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Only place to start is by taking it to a shop and have the abs scanned and pcm scanned see what code it has and repair as necessary. Without doing code based diagnostics and repair you are passing in the wind and throwing parts at it. More than likely you will find it needs a hub bearing assembly but only having a code in hand can confirm that there are literally a thousand different codes that can trigger these lamps to illuminate.

I figured It would be something like that. I'll have to take it somewhere with a good scanner. I'm anxiously awaiting my cam swap as well. Hopefully this is a simple issue to resolve beforehand.

any local parts shop should be able to get you the codes, they wont have access to the manufacturer specific ones but they have global obd2 and once you get them we can help steer you in the right direction

whats your mileage?

If it's not throwing any codes, check your battery. A bad battery will sometimes to that kind of stuff. Happened to me.

Or a bad ground wire attachment somewhere.

Not saying this is what your problem is but I had those lights come on in mine and it ended up being the steering position sensor at the bottom of the column. Any parts store can scan it and pin point the problem...

It sad to say but these new trucks are so electronic sensitive. When I had my issue I saw information on all three of these problems. Also saw the throttle position sensor being an issue on a couple. The ground problem threads I saw mostly seemed to be the frame connection. It took me a while to figure out my issue. A lot of reading and a voltmeter to keep from throwing parts at it. I can't remember exactly what my reading was, but it was barely below a full charge at rest. The truck started and seemed to run fine, but the battery would discharge quick if I had the door open or radio on. Apparently on newer vehicles, it doesn't take much of a drop to cause haywire in the electronics.

My mileage is 132k. I just bought the truck in nov. So I haven't had a whole lot of time with it. I will definitely check the battery first and get it scanned.
