Well, they're a road racing tire, which generally means a stiff sidewall designed to be stable during hard cornering and braking. They also usually don't start performing with maximum grip until after a couple of warmup laps. And they generally don't perform better after a burnout. Not exactly what you'd normally want for drag racing.

If you drive around the water box, and do a very short burnout in 2WD before you pre-stage(just enough to clean off the tires), then make your pass in 4x4... They might hook.

It's worth a try.

I would make sure to flash the computer with the smaller tire size before hand.

They are very expensive new, $550-1000 per wheel depending on the combo you order.
I couldn't remember the name for the life of me, hah. When I had my AE86 I was looking at them.
Very nice wheels, priced right considering other forged wheels are twice as much, Forgline etc,,,
