Towing with a drop.
#1
So my buddy wants to lower his extended cab NNBS 2wd. But he still needs to tow his travel trailer a couple of times a year. I told him the lowest I'd recommend was pulling the blocks and 2" shackles. In the front there are many options so thats not what I'm concerned about.
He really wants a 3/5 drop.
With that heavy IMO flip kits and drop leafs are out of the question.
Whats ya'lls thoughts?

I towed my other truck a couple of weeks back. I have a 2/4 or 2/5 drop rear is a flip kit with lift hangers and no overload leafs. It all depends on the tongue weight if the trailer.

cool thanks. I'll let him know about the helpers. I read up on them, sounds like they can support about 2000lbs. The tongue weight shouldn't be anywhere near that, especialy since he has a weight distribution hitch.
