ok guys to catch you up if you dont know i have a full bolt on vmax(6.0) with a fully built 4l70 with 3200 converter. Well as of 2 weeks ago iv blown my 3rd fully built trans and its snapping the output shaft in half. Trans guy said i need a 4l80, so my question is is there a specific year of trans housing i want? And wat exactly do i have to do to make it work like stock on my nnbs? thanks guys

Id look for an 03+ and throw a shift kit in it.

You may have to do a segement swap, unless you can do the relay trick to stay on your 60e tune.

Redo the trans crossmember, extend 1 trans line (i say use 3/8" compression fittings into steel tubing vs rubber hose)

You may need to shorten the dshaft, i am not sure on that one
