My 6.2 is going in for it's dyno tune this weekend I had a way closer than I had expected scare yesterday evening late. I wasn't planning on playing so the traction control was still enabled also and it's still bone stock with no mods.

Pulled up to a light 09-11? tundra was sitting in lane beside me system cranked, I didn't give it a look or any second thought. I'm unfamiliar with the area and saw the road narrowed shortly after the light. So I nailed it coming off the light to get in front and the **** tried racing me. He was definitely behind me but not near as far behind as I was expecting. I figured it would be an outright slaughter with my 6.2. It looked like he as only a few feet off my back bumper by looking in the left mirror.

But except for a muffler swap I haven't done any other mods and it's the way it left the factory powertrain wise so far.

GM 6.2 vs a Yota 5.7 is a close race. A tune is a great plan

hell yeah those damn tundras run good. pisses me off.. my friend has a tss tundra and it gets up and goes pretty good.. I'd like to see what happens after your tune!

numbers coming soon. It's a dd so no other powertrain mods are slated after the tune. I've got a volant that I got cheap off of a wrecked truck at a salvage yard that's going on when the tune is done as well. I've been going to tune it but just kinda putting it off. I'm really hoping for a much improved tranny shifts aftwerwards

I think you misread his comment, He's going to have the cold air put on at the same time he has the tune done.

Yeah they run good, before my tune they would beat me every time. Now I eat them for breakfast.
